Learn more about joining the bone marrow register and donating

My son Marley who is 6 years old needs a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to save his life. There is currently NO match world wide, so we are encouraging people from all over the world to join. You never know it could be YOU.
You only need to join one register as they all communicate.
You can join the bone marrow register if you had a blood transfusion but unfortunately you can’t give blood.
Yes you can but you have to wait 4 months after your last tattoo.
How to join the bone marrow register depends on where you live in the world. In the UK you can join by a simple cheek swab some other counties may require a blood sample.
Yes. If you donate blood there is an option to join the bone marrow register than way. They just take an extra bit of blood to join the register.
Yes. This will not put you or your baby in any harm. You will not be able to donate up until 6 months after you have had your baby, or even longer if you’re breastfeeding.
Yes you can but you will not be able to donate until 4 months after.
